This floppy disk drive does exactly what I need it to do. I took it out of the box and connected it to a Dell desktop, and within a few seconds the device was recognized and the drivers were loaded. I had no trouble viewing the contents of a disk or reading the listed files. I was equally successful connecting it to a Toshiba netbook, which I used to edit and save files on a disk.
