The AXSYS Audio Video three shelf system neatly organizes and safely supports components up to 25lbs per shelf. I was a little worried about this shelf when I first ordered it, but it works great and installation wasn't all that hard, but a little time consuming. I have a Tivo, HD Satellite and Home Theater System on it, so you can imagine all the wires. The steel shaft houses all the wires (except the ones I couldn't foresee at installation). You'll want to make sure you have all the wires you'll need handy and un-plugged upon installation of shelve as you can not run them through the shaft once it is together. Also, the shelf was a little bigger than I thought it would be, it's 36" form the top bracket to the bottom, and you'll need to have a wall stud centrally located. I also had a problem with a power outlet, as the central stud on my wall has a outlet and I couldn't put the shelf as low as I would have wanted it. The shelf itself is extremely sturdy and looks great below my Aquos TV. I am happy with the final product. Oh, and make sure you have a handful of zip-ties to bind the wires with when they come out of the bottom and at the top, and to hide any extra wires.

The shelf looks nice, and I've not really had the problems described in some of the other reviews regarding the narrow cable channel. I used HDMI cables and it looks nice. The real problem with this shelf system is that the swivel feature is more of a design flaw than a positive attribute. The whole shelf hangs from the top bracket supported by a pin, so it can turn very easily, with just a touch. If you have kids or it's in a high traffic area I wouldn't really recommend it, because the corners of the shelf will constantly be banging against your wall. I would up eliminating the swivel feature by putting a few screws through the bar to provide resistance against the mount. Also, and this was really a problem of all the shelf systems, I wish the shelves themselves were a little bigger. Your components can crowd the shelf a little bit.
