I love this product. The quality is amazing although the glitter factor is kind of high. I don't even plan out my eye make up anymore in advance. I just open the box and stare at the pretty colors until creativity takes over. This was a big treat for me and instead of the inevitable guilt that follows spending more than usual I feel nothing but satisfied and inspired.

Everyone loves UD's palette's, and this one really outdoes itself. I don't have to pre-plan my shadows with this sucker, just open it up and get inspired. I've really got to hand it to the really decent pigments, although the glitter fallout can be a bit much at times. Even the colors that don't seem that compelling look really great on. I like that I can grab this and go on vacation...you know what I mean, not having a makeup bag full of shadows is real convenient! I ended up liking this book of shadows more than the Alice in Wonderland one, surprisingly. Bright, long-lasting, great pigmentation, and well-rounded.

This had 4 duplicates for me. Midnight Cowboy Rides Again (which I have a full size of), and then Last Call, Smog, and Maui Wowie (which all come in the Ammo box.) Still, I can't pretend I don't love this product. I was most excited about the greens. Kush, Loaded, Money, and Haight. I absolutely love them and would buy them full size in a heartbeat! Especially Kush and Loaded. Uzi is nice but has WAY too much glitter. Polyester Bride is a better choice. Perversion is a much nicer black shade than Oil Slick. Snatch is practically invisible! (I have to admit, I prefer bold and bright colors and am not partial to neutrals or nudes.) Suspect is a lot like Smog in color. Bordello is also way too neutral and almost invisible, but better than Snatch. (Even though I really like that they named a nude-pink color "Snatch"..!) I haven't used Rock Star yet but it looks like a very deep royal purple. Psychedelic Sister is a nice bold purple color and I like it a lot! And Radium is amazing. If I were shopping for full sizes of these colors I would 100% absolutely buy: Kush, Loaded, and Radium. I would strongly consider Money, Haight, Psychedelic Sister, and Perversion! But I'd wait to run out before buying full sizes and the good news about this pallet is that the size of each shade is HUGE. Bigger than any other pallet I've ever purchased. It looks almost full sized, but square instead of circular. It'll probably take a very long time to run out of any particular shade.
The two pencils (Zero, which is black and Ransom, which is purple) are nice, even though I've already got plenty of eyeliner! And the travel sized primer potion is adorable. Too bad they still insist on packaging it in the genie bottle with the doe foot applicator. The genie bottles are very cute, but not practical for thicker things! I mean, they have plenty of other things in attractive squeeze tubes, so why not just redesign the primer potion? I can't stand the idea of having to cut it open to get out the rest. What a ridiculous necessity to get the most for your money.
The box itself is very cute and even my uninterested spouse lit up when he saw the NY scene pop up, full on with lights and everything. I thought I was mostly paying for packaging at first, but then, fortunately, the shadow sizes are PLENTY big and it's almost like getting 16 near full sizes PLUS the eyeliners and potion for only $54, which is a great deal by itself.
