I was given this pillow by a friend when I was about 3 months pregnant. I was skeptical. It is HUGE. We have a king bed, and it really takes up a lot of room. I wondered if I needed the 2 sides, and if I could just get one long pillow to leave some room in the bed for my husband. I'm now 35 weeks pregnant, and let me say, it has made sleeping possible. Anytime I travel and forget it, it is torture. I can't get comfortable, despite trying to pad all the areas I need padded with loose pillows. Early on, I'd just use it to prop my leg up on. Now, I pull one side under my back, and the other under my belly, and I feel like I can actually relax. The issue with the curved part at the top being tight/the seam is true, but you just need to adjust the pillow/push the cushions inside up, and you won't notice it anymore (at least I don't). I highly highly recommend this. I wouldn't probably have bought it on my own, but am so glad my friend gave it to me.
It's expensive, and huge, but I would buy this in a heartbeat.

My husband got me this body pillow for my birthday in June. I am now a little over 6 months pregnant with twins and started experiencing sleep deprivation ever since my 4th month. I did all the research, told him about it and he ordered it. Sure it's a bit pricey, but it beats having to put a bunch of pillows around you. I love this pillow and I call it my cocoon. I cuddle with it and sleep through most nights, I still have some nights where I can't sleep but that has nothing to do with the pillow, it's because my ribcage have started hurting. I love the fact that I can lay on one side and if I want to turn to my other side, I just turn and there is the other side of the pillow, I don't have to worry about taking a pillow and turning it with me. The pillow doesn't get hot at all through the night and putting it between my knees takes the pressure off from my back and eases my hip pains. I would definitely recommend this item!!

Truly excellent idea for back pain. I spent MANY $$$ on back pain relief. This worked fantastic for about a month. Then the curved part of the pillow began to flatten out. This pillow consists of three parts. I simply removed the curved part and replaced it with a king size down alternative pillow. Fits fairly well, a bit lumpy. Still releives pain. A cost effective alternative would be to buy a pillow case with this shape and fill it with pillows of your choosing. Be sure it is made well as the zipper will have a bit of stress. Shape definitely works but filler is unsatisfactory.
